Kings Brighton

Pathways to Top 20 UK universities

About

Kings Colleges place the needs of each student at the center of their entire approach to learning. Kings Colleges create a personalized plan for all students that ensures, with expert guidance and extensive support, they will achieve more than they ever thought possible. Kings' students consistently win places at the UK's top ranked universities, including Oxford and Cambridge. In 2019 over 86% of A-level students received offers from Top 20 universities. Their modern, friendly and intimate colleges are not located within isolated campuses, but within safe, convenient parts of the UK's most popular, internationally-minded cities. Students are closely supported in every aspect of their life, both in school and for the many who join from overseas, within whichever type of accommodation they select.

 Kings Brighton

Kings Brighton is a new state-of-the art college with an on-site student residence and cafeteria. Located in the vibrant and student-centred and London Road area of the city, its central location affords students close proximity to shops, restaurants, and transport hubs. It is opposite one of Brighton’s most popular, and recently regenerated, parks and it is just a short walk from the city’s iconic beach and piers. On-site residence is for students aged 15 and over spans the top two floors of the college. The residence features single, en suite bedrooms with communal student lounges. An additional and brand-new residence for over 18s will also be available from September 2021, offering single en suite rooms just 2 minutes’ walk from school. Homestay is also offered to students, as are nearby student houses.

A-level at Kings Brighton
The thing that I feel is most valuable to me here is that I develop my English every day because I speak in English all the time with my friends. My English is becoming natural, which I think will be really helpful when I go to university and do my degree.

The teachers here put more into it — they give everything and they spend time on giving you resources and any help that you need. I’m doing catch-up sessions for my Biology and it’s the extra things that the teachers here put in place for you which is very helpful.
