IESA Arts & Culture - Foundation

This program allows international students to study French in France for a year. Additionally, it prepares non-native French-speaking students to join one of the various courses offered by IESA Arts & Culture by combining the expertise of teaching French as a Foreign Language (FLE) at the Sorbonne with that of IESA Arts & Culture in the art market and cultural sectors. This course was created in partnership with La Sorbonne, a centuries-old university renowned for its arts and humanities programs.

This program is aimed at students looking to further their education in the field of arts and culture (Bachelor or Master programs of the IESA arts & culture, school of fine arts, school of fashion or design, school of architecture, etc.). The French language and civilization program provides international students with a working knowledge of the French language and the methodological, historical, stylistic, technical and professional bases necessary for enrolling in one of IESA Arts & Culture’s programs.

MBA in Contemporary Art: Sales, Display & Collecting
Before joining IESA I completed a Foundation and Bachelor’s Degree in London. The MBA in Contemporary Art: Sales, Display & Collecting introduced to me various leading aspects of the art market. Other than strengthening my core skills in communication (oral, written and visual), art history and cultural studies, I was introduced to key practitioners within art business, was promisingly encouraged to explore potential business opportunities and take advantage of prospects that arise.

MBA in Contemporary Art: Sales, Display & Collecting
My job is full of challenges: I'm working in a new town where I've never lived before. I use the knowledge and rigour I've learnt from IESA's MBA in Contemporary Art: Sales, Display and Collecting to lead my team to successfully curate shows and promote artwork. The training in aesthetics has given me the confidence necessary to select works and promote the artists. I have truly benefited from IESA's practical courses and lovely professors. I believe that the core skill set I learnt at IESA will provide me with the momentum and possibility to further develop my career as a curator
