Bachelor of Design in Communication Design
“I had seen some of the work of previous design students from AUT, and was blown away by their level of skill and knowledge. At AUT I was surrounded by people who were very talented, which made me want to push my skills even further and strive to achieve the same standards. What I love most about my role now is that it combines two of my passions: design and helping people. User experience design is about understanding people – their needs, wants and desires – and designing something that helps them achieve what they intend to do.”

Bachelor of Design in Spatial Design
“AUT offers a perfect environment to design in. Through the studio culture I made lifelong friends – spending countless late nights in the studio leads to great friendships. Being taught by great academic staff in spatial design also enriched my experience at AUT. They helped progress my learning and skills, heavily influencing how I work as a designer today. Since I was young one of my career goals was to work in New York City, and to have my first job in the industry here, through the AUT Internz programme, is an amazing personal achievement.”
