"Having been at Village since my elementary school, I remember first being exposed to the exciting world of science by my 2nd grade teacher. My passion was further developed in middle school by several teachers who encouraged me to enter science competitions so I could apply my studies to real-world problems. In high school, I participated in the Entrepreneurship Diploma Program, and sought out endeavors that challenged me to innovate solutions through science and technology. With innovation and creative problem-solving threaded through all my years at Village, I was accepted to Stanford University, where I plan to study material science so I can develop materials that have a massive impact on how we build buildings and create energy in the future."

"With interests ranging from programming and technology to marketing and business, My Village School experience has truly been an exploration of my interests. From interning in marketing at a local start-up to winning a national competition for designing a speech-coaching app using artificial intelligence, I have integrated all the elements of STEAM learning into everything I take on. My initiative and drive earned me a well-deserved place at Trinity University, a highly selective school that accepts just 34% of applicants and is ranked among the top National Liberal Arts Colleges."
