About
Murdoch University is a public university in Perth, Western Australia, Its name is taken from Sir Walter Murdoch (1874–1970), the Founding Professor of English and former Chancellor of the University of Western Australia.
Murdoch is a verdant university and a member of the Innovative Research Universities.
The Foundation Studies program prepares students for a successful transition to degree-level study, providing a pathway to the first year of study of a Bachelor degree at Murdoch University. On successful completion of the Foundation Studies program, students gain entry to first year of any undergraduate degree at Murdoch University, with the exception of a Bachelor of Veterinary Science. This course can be accessed through a Bachelor of Animal Science.
