Before coming to the UK I had never travelled alone, so when I arrived I was just really scared to be on my own. It was nerve-wracking and I worried about how I was going to make friends. Luckily, there were so many other international students at the Pathway College and I found friends quite quickly. However, I'm really bad with directions so I remember I got lost a lot! I loved my time at the Pathway College. I studied a Foundation Certificate, and we mostly had small-sized seminars, so we had the chance to build close relationships with the teachers and with each other as classmates. This meant that we weren't afraid to ask questions, and if we ever needed help, there was always someone there.
